There are plenty of restaurants, beach bars, snack and tapas bars arounds the village. We recommend:-

The New Market - Especially for the sunday carvery lunch (you will have to book).

The Mijas Playa Club - Situated near the beach; is a bit different and would be ideal for a special occasion as it is a tad expensive but very nice.

La Cala Chica - This is a new restaurant situated near Harvey's.

Dolphinos -   This is our favourite beach bar where the food is great and very cheap but do try the others.

For english breakfasts we found The Irish bar, El Gusto and Harvey's All really good.

There are also Chinese, Italian, Thai and Indian restaurants situated around the village.
